ڈاکٹر خیال امروہی کی نظم، ’’المیہ‘‘ کا اسلوبیاتی مطالعہ : A STYLISTIC STUDY OF DR. KHAYAL AMROHI’S POEM “ALMIA”

Stylistics is the scientific study of style. Stylistic analysis is done on a scientific and objective basis, but the analysis is descriptive in nature. The stylistic study is done at different levels of language. The literary text is analyzed from a phonetic, lexical, and grammatical point of view. The stylistic analysis explores the stylistic deviation or adherence in a given literary piece. It brings the stylistic elements of a literary work to the fore. Rather, a literary artist establishes his unique identity through the use of these features of style. This article provides a stylistic analysis of Dr. Khayal Amrohi's poem "Almia". Dr. Khayal  Amrohi was one of the stalwarts of the progressive writers' movement in Urdu Literature. He persisted in the ideals of the movement and was one of the authentic voices against social injustice, exploitation, and backwardness in society. The poem understudy brims with intellectual profundity and is studded with nuances of expression and distinctiveness of style. The present article is an attempt to unveil the linguistic aspects of the poem through its stylistic analysis
